How to Have Games at a Baby Shower
Baby showers games are a great way to break the ice and get everyone interacting and having fun. But before you start planning any games, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, make sure that all of the guests are comfortable with playing games. Some people may not be keen on playing games at a baby shower, so it’s important to check with everyone beforehand. Also keep in mind the types of games you’re playing – for example, if you have an older crowd that might not want to be up and moving, you might not want to do a game that requires a lot of walking.
Secondly, try to choose baby shower games that are appropriate for the group. If you have a group of close friends who know each other well, you can probably get away with playing some silly games. But if you have a group of people who don’t know each other very well, it’s probably best to stick to some more low-key games.
Third, we recommend making a plan before the baby shower on which games you’re going to play so you have all the materials you need. We love to use sites like Etsy to get printable games that match our baby shower themes.
How Many Games to Play
There’s no set number of how many baby shower games you should play. It really all depends on the amount of time you have and how many guests you have. We generally like to play 2-3 games at a baby shower, but if you only have time for one, that’s fine too!

This classic game is always a hit. Before the shower, make up bingo cards with items related to babies or pregnancy (you could also find some printable ones on sites like Etsy!). As the gifts are opened, guests can mark off the items on their cards. The first one to get five in a row wins!
